I haven't been going back home lately. I wonder if everything's alright? So far, it's always play, study, work and then a sleepover at Yuichi's. The last time I actually got back home was yesterday - I took a few clothes and books and fed the dog before hurriedly rushing out. Maybe I should ask a neighbour to look after my dog. I hope he's not starving, though. I'm sure my brothers would kill me if I told them the dog's dead. Which reminds me, perhaps I should drop him off back at home in Chiba? Life's too constricting at the moment, and I'm not sure if I can take care of the dog. But then again...

Well, for now, I don't think I can. Maybe when I'm more settled in Tokyo, then, I can take him back.

General backstory:

        Yakuza. That was the first thing that crossed the minds of those who first laid eyes on Tanaka Koki. Though, the statement itself wasn’t really off the hook, either. He was a yakuza. But a few months ago, he chose to quit, deciding to focus on his exams and study instead. Whilst most leaders of the yakuza world would usually beat up those who unequivocally betray or quit their groups, the leader of Koki’s group was most generous and kind-hearted, seeing how Koki was really dear to him, as a cousin. However, the leader had asked him to find another job, as to substantiate that he was capable of working and taking care of himself when he leaves the yakuza group later on.

Though so, this proved to be a much harder task to Koki. What’s with his yakuza-akin looks and all.

        After one failed application and dozens more, hope started to become dim. Whilst contemplating on whether he should just gave up on this seemingly never-ending quest for jobs, Koki hadn’t realized that he had somehow traveled away from his hometown Chiba to Tokyo and by the time the reality dawned on him, he was already in the middle of the big town – in front of a restaurant named “Firefry”.At first, he wanted to apply for the job of a waiter. But being the ever self-proud he is, Koki opted to apply for an apprentice job instead. Besides, nothing could’ve gone wrong with easy looking liquid and watery stock soups, right?

Needless to say, he was really wrong.

Personality Traits:

        Koki is...well, to sum in one word - egoist. He has a high pride. A very high one, at that. And this had, more than often, led him into a serious of trouble. Koki is good with his rapping ability - it's something that he always practices - and henceforth, it's where his new image of hip hop came into light. But as of recent, he started taking a liking to rock music, too, so, he came to mix both style together. But despite all that images that he put up, Koki, in veracity, is actually a soft person at heart. He likes affections and loves being all cuddly. He is a very caring person and he also concerns a lot when it comes to the feeling of 'being special'.

        Another characteristic of Koki is that, he's a study geek. Well, to say a 'geek' is almost like an exaggeration, but Koki is really keen when it comes to studying. Though so, he often missed classes due to some things - mostly yakuza related - and he had only scarce time to study after that, leaving him with pretty much bad grades. Koki might seem a bit silly at times, what's with him being an affection-seeker and all, but Koki is like a brother to other people as they looked up to him, just like how he looked after them.
